Day 1: Got to Launceston about 10:30. Headed out to Tasmazia, purported to be the world's largets maze complex, via Railton, Town of Topiary and Sheffield, Town of Murals. Then went up to Devonport and visited Tiagarra Museum. Headed to Launcestion via Anvers House of Chocolate

Day 2: Wandered around Cataract Gorge, pretty incredible for something right in the city. Took a river tour. Went out to the cable hang gliding, but it turned out to be closed. Headed south and tried to visit Clarendon, but that was also closed (damn winter). Went to Woolmers (Colonial estate) instead, interesting tour.

Day 3: Headed up the west side of the Tamar via Grindelwald (Random Swiss village complex) to Beauty Point, to visit Seahorse World and the Platypus House. Echidnas and sea dragons are cute. Then we went over Batman Bridge (via Tamar Ridge winery) to go on a penguin tour at Low Head.

Day 4: Headed east via Scottsdale, popped in briefly to Binalong Bay, then headed down the coast to Bicheno, where we visited East Coast Nature World, where we saw baby devils, very friendly birds, and a turf war between kangaroos and deer. Spent the night in Coles Bay

Day 5: Walked to Wineglass Bay- gorgeous and we had the whole thing to ourselves- and back via Hazards Beach. Drove down to Taranna.

Day 6: Port Arthur

Day 7: Jetboating on the Huon, then on to the Tahune Airwalk, where we did the associated walks and then went cable gliding (much duller than the one in Launceston was meant to be).

Day 8: Salamanca Market, then out to Moorilla Estate. Bus tour in the afternoon with a pretty hard case driver.

Day 9: Up to Sydney, wandered around Newtown and QVC with Del. Flew home.
